Senator Wong’s press release
The Message Board at ABC’s Water site has some very interesting discussion forums, including one on Grey Water – Dos and Don’ts and another on Recycled Water. But My favourite is Don’t poo poo our water. The topic for this discussion is:
Queenslanders are going to drink recycled water. Come up with a slogan to encourage them, to add to those already suggested by ABC listeners.
Some of my favourites from the discussion:
“Recycled water – for those who can’t drink dirt” – submitted by Widgie
“From crap to tap” – submitted by garryj (cf Singapore’s New Water “From Toilet to Tap”)
“Fresher than tears – after 4 billion years’ – submitted by Habeus Corpus
Recycled water, you’re already drinking it”. – submitted by water rat
“Don’t poo poo it till you’ve tried it” – submitted by fallweiss
“It’s clean, it’s safe -it’s necessary” – submitted by marmary
If you haven’t joined ABC Communities, or had a look at their excellent discussion boards and forums, why not take a look?
