When we created this blog, we wanted a nice clean theme, one that reflected our concern with clean water. But the header was a problem. We do not yet have a great array of photos in our Flickr group, and there are many people who do have lovely photos, many of them licensed under Creative Commons. With Yahoo adding Creative Commons criteria to their Image Search, we were able to search through some great photos of water and eventually found this wonderful image by play4smee on Flickr.

A small bit of cropping and we had the perfect header for this blog – clean water, a local dam and just a hint of the scope of the problems we face with water storage.
